THEATRE

Music, voice and performance for the stage.

Wellington Barros works across theatre as a musical director, composer, performer and creator. His practice brings together music, voice, movement and listening, often developed in close collaboration with actors, directors and young audiences.

Since 2016, he has worked extensively with AGORA Theater, creating music and directing musical elements for productions including Animal Farm, Jetzland, Die drei Leben der Antigone, Hannah Arendt auf der Bühne, Die freiwilligen Angsthasen and Only Flowers.

Alongside his work in production, he develops musical training for actors, exploring rhythm, voice, listening and collective music-making as tools for performance and creation.
