Les Couroumïm — Une aventure amazonienne

A large-scale interdisciplinary music theatre project inspired by Amazonian indigenous mythologies, bringing together children’s choir, orchestra, narration and scenic creation through a collective artistic process developed between Brazil and Belgium. Combining musical creation, pedagogy and ecological awareness, the project explores themes of memory, transmission and environmental responsibility through contemporary choral and theatrical language.

Developed in collaboration with schools, artists and multicultural communities, the project involved hundreds of children and participants across several seasons in Belgium. Through workshops, collective creation and concert performance, Les Couroumïm created a space of artistic exchange connecting Brazilian indigenous cultural references with contemporary European stage practices.
